Sara Panosyan is a doctoral student at the “Chamber music and Accompaniment” Department at the National Music Academy “Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov”, Sofia. She has also received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree there in “Violin Performance”. Her professional path and development are impressive. She has been a fixed member of two orchestras in Bulgaria – the Philharmonic orchestra in Pazardzhik (by 2020) as well as the “Orpheus” Chamber Orchestra in Pernik (2019-2020). She is currently teaching violin and chamber music in the National Music Academy “Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov”.
The reason she decided to join our jury is her vast experience in international masterclasses in violin and chamber music with renowned musicians like Gil Shaham, prof. Vladimir Spivakov, prof. Jean Ter-Merguerian, Eszter Haffner, Barbara Doll, Sebastian Gürtler, Vesko Panteleev-Eshkenazy, prof. Mintcho Mintchev, prof. Mitcho Dimitrov, prof. Veselin Parashkevov, Johannes Miles, Hatto Beyerle, Avedis Koumyoudjian, Peter Schumayer, Peter Nadzh (?), etc. She has also gained lots of musical experience taking part in summer academies like International Summer Academy of the University of music and performing arts in Vienna, the Classical music festival “Aurora” in Stockholm, Varna Summer festival, March Music Days, etc. Panosyan won the second prize in the International Violin Competition “Prof. Nedyalka Simeonova” in 2015. She was part of the representative team of the National Music Academy (Sofia) in the Summer Academy of the University of music and performing arts in Vienna in 2015 and 2020. She was also a soloist in the concert celebrating the 95th anniversary of the National Music Academy in Sofia in 2016, which was broadcasted on national air.
